Floor Replacement

Well the soft spot in the floor of my Sea Runner finally gave way. I need to get the floor replaced. Any suggestions out there for an affordable quality shop to install the floor? I live in the Beaverton Tigard area and would prefer something close. Also what would something like this cost in a 17.5 ft Hewescraft? It is a vinyl over plywood floor and I figured I would replace it with the same. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Use marine grade plywood sprayed with arma coating or flip the big coin and buy 3/4" seaboard and do it yourself.

Thanks for the reply schoenberg and I would love to have the time to do it myself. Work and family leave hardly enugh time to fish as it is. So I would really like to pay someone to do the job right. But thanks for the advice anyway.

Have you considered vinyl over aluminum ?

I would check into using composite boards. There was a thread recently about it. No more wood

hire a carpenter then. why pay a boat shop 100 an hour to have a kid do it that doesnt have the experience. it isnt a hard job as the old floor is your pattern.

Definitly not a hard job. But I'm sure any boat shop would be willing to take your money.LOL.
