Try Good News Tuna which is a sponsor here on Ifish. He is a day fishing tuna boat so all of his catch is caught and brought in the same day. He can also deliver to Portland since he has the proper permits to transfer and sell fish.

My Nephew, Luke Whittier is catching and selling tuna on the dock at Florence to make college tuition. The boat is the Christie-Lee. Nice young man.

It says he is cutting up an Ahi, but I am pretty sure it is an Albacore tuna.

He does reserve it for you, but doesn't fillet until you get there. He's real close to the end, you'd have to call him. You can PM me for a number.

Get ahold of Good News Tuna. Thanks to Nalu's post, I met up with Ryan on their way to Portland. These are the freshest tuna that I have ever purchased from a boat. The stuff I got from the docks last year are no comparison to the quality that Good News Tuna has. I won't go anywhere else from now on unless I catch my own. Craig
