I'll bid $60
Suggestion: Maybe put a picture of the rod in your original post so we can see what we are bidding on. [ 02-22-2004, 07:12 PM: Message edited by: Artwo ]

Common guys this is to help keep this site going and to help Jennie the only way we can with this project.Lets do what we can to help get serious with these bids I'll step up to the plate with a bid of
$150 and if I don't have the winning bid Jen send me a notice after the auction and that $150 will be a donation to the site and start the April donation drive in March. I think that this is the least we can do to help. You started a great thing in this site and we need to keep it going. You do a wonderful job with this place THANKYOU!!! Wow Sled 19 you are a tough act to follow. I'll bid $200 with the same stipulation. If I lose, that's my fund-raising donation.
C'mon, somebody. Bid $201. I dare you! [ 02-23-2004, 04:05 PM: Message edited by: Thumper ]

$500.00
....and it's worth every dime for the advice and tips I have received since I joined a month ago. If I lose I will donate that amount toward the fund raiser.

Hey TH ... Throw in another rod, maybe a boondogger, and we'll keep doing this.

this is working out very well.
ifish.net is very $$$$ to run and it's the least we can do to help offset the $$$$$. We'll continue to auction off rods throughout the year. This looks like it will turn out well for Jennie and ifish.net |

Instead of a boondoggin' rod Why not a rod of the person's choice. The rod that is auctioned off and a rod of the winning bidders choice. Be it a boondoggin, or a plug rod or maybe a fly rod. How about that? I mean I can't afford $500.00 for a rod right now, but for that price, you should donate one for the cost.

This whole thing is a donation! Thats why we were all bidding on the rod to begin with. And why if some of us lost our bid will still be honored as a donation to help Jen with the cost of ugrading. There is no other way of helping that I know of so lets help the only way we can.
TH was good enough to start this why would we ask more of him. Besides everything is spelled out in first post on how this all will work. [ 02-25-2004, 08:47 PM: Message edited by: sled19 ]
