It's that time, again! ![]() I don't know where the time goes to! Luhr Jensen rocks it again for ifish.net! The Ifish.net K15 Kwikfish! Grab your color crayons for the 2010 Kwikfish design! (Or do it on your computer or use whatever!) THE ENTRY MUST BE ON THE IFISH ENTRY FORM. Do NOT resize it. Must be 800 pixels wide. Here are the 2009 entries and the winners! These should be ready for Springer Season, so think whatever Springers would like! ![]() Keep your entries to your TWO favorites this year! The contest is getting so big that we want only TWO entries! That's all I can handle! Remember you guys... TWO entries! Let's start another thread for ideas and then we can put as many as we want... but this thread you can only put two in. I'll go start another and link it here. Idea/Practice Thread Here We are supposed to give Luhr Jensen 90 days for production, and the Pacific Northwest Sportsmen's Show is Feb. 10-14th. That's when Ifish will be selling them in our booth-... so we don't have a whole lot of time! If we follow the 90 day rule, it's going to have to be voted on and in to them by mid November. That's only a little under 3 weeks!!!! Let's get on it! We will have just ONE winning Kwikfish this year, again. Here is the blank, (thanks to ampersat) that you can use to color. Let's get a real fish catcher, this year! Have fun! ![]() Please keep it the original size when uploading your colored Kwikfish. For instructions on how to upload your graphic, see this post on Life In General, thanks to Pete! Just copy this image and print it out, or use your paint program on your computer to design your ideal Kwikfish. If you need help in uploading it, please post on Life in General and someone will help you! If you are the winner, the design will be printed up with your ifish moniker on it and be for sale on ifish, and at the Sportsman Show! The winner will be provided with 6 of their own custom lures. It will also be added to the collection, and sold as a collector's item on ifish! Please, design your Kwikfish ideas, or just write them out here, and then we'll vote on them next week. We have to get the order in so you can pick them up at the show! I'm excited and nervous, all at the same time! I will be closing the contest about the 15th of November and we will start the vote! Woo hooo! Go ahead! Start designing! Or, if you want to submit your last year's idea, go ahead! I can't WAIT to see them! I love this contest! It's my fav! Let's get after it and make them COOL! ![]() ![]() ![]() A couple rules: Please don't bother to enter Kwikfish that advertise non sponsor logos. They won't be entered in the contest and are subject to deletion. I'd hate to see you spend time on something that goes to waste. NO PICTURES OF ALREADY PRODUCED OR PAINTED LURES. The Entry MUST be on the ifish blank and colored in either by computer paint programs or by hand color. The whole idea behind this is to have member created lures, and to serve as a memorial of one of our active members. In order to win this contest, you must be a member in good standing. I reserve the right to change or add any rules at any time, as I deem necessary. Here are last year's winners! We had two! The Eyefish ll Kwikfish! ![]() The Roadrunner Kwikfish Here is eyefish's entry: and see what it turned into! ![]()

If I could only have 1 K-15 in my arsenal, this would be it. Hands down best color combination for a river king.

I tried to do lips, but... couldn't find any in my palette! Seriously... I don't know if they could do this, but it was fun coloring!

Both of mine are Silver and Gold colors. As for the offical entry form, are these modified ones acceptable to show the other side? I can quickly create a blank for others to use.
Let's call it "Z Special" ![]() This one can be "Z 5050" Exception made on this one, but please in the future- use the blank above for all entries. Thanks! Jen

My variation of the Mag Lip (M2-SP) "Double Trouble". Metallic Gold body, Chartreuse ends and Chartreuse stripes. And a little recognition to Bob Barthlow who requested the paint scheme to Yakima bait for the Mag Lip (M2-SP). Please No Electric Banana Jokes, that's as close as I could come to Gold.

SpeyMaster George Cook gave up the doublehander for a day to take a detour to the Dark Side with me last summer on Alaska's Kanektok River. I gave him an introduction to the virtues of employing Dirty Copper to produce ultra-clean platinum kings!
![]() He liked the color scheme so much that he vowed to tie up some big gangly Spey flies in copper, black and red. I thought I'd return the favor in kind by designing a Kwik to emulate one of the colorful flies he let me use during our trip. ![]() My entry was inspired by the uber cool fly patterns in George's Premier Kanektok Collection. ![]() eyeFISH III sounds really boring, so I dub this one..... The KingFisher.... ![]() RECIPE: Body: Deep Kingfisher Blue Metallic Bill: Black Gloss Back: Black Gloss Racing Stripe Tail: Chartreuse Hot Tail Sides: 2-tone Diamond Bars, Chartreuse on Black (for hi-contrast shadow effect) Belly: Midline Fluo Cerise Stripe
