Re: Anchoring in the Channel Enforcement

Are you saying they actually mean something? Maybe some should have paid better attention when getting their boaters card.

Re: driftboat trailer question

I did a remake of a trailer similar to that, turn bunks 90 degrees and cut to length, added 3 keel rollers and brackets on the back. Not the best driftboat railer but functional and easy to use.

Re: Who's catchin' all our kings?

It's no different than catching the majority of springers in the lower river and the up river fisherman getting screwed repeatedly. Everybody is for improving fish runs as long as they don't have to...

Re: new boat! wont run full

Check the wire mesh fuel filter, I've had mine clog a few times. Just follow your fuel line and remove the one screw.

Re: Columbia barbless in 2011

More wild fish will make it to the gravel if they don't lower the impacts!! Good news for the fish.

Re: Sturgeon ages - kind of suprising!

How many times is a sturgeon caught and released before it reaches keeper size? May be part of the problem also.

Re: Barbless hooks on the Columbia??

By not changing the mortality rate more wild fish survive. If they made it 5% we would just fish longer to kill the same number of fish. This way more fish are surviving than being acounted for which...

Still a group of like minded folks, notice what they all have in common? Lots of experience with Hatcheries. Just what we need to bring back wild fish. NOT!!!!

Re: The Separate Debate portion of the Gill-Net Challenge thread.

Re: The Separate Debate portion of the Gill-Net Challenge thread.

Close all hatcheries there by eliminating overharvest, bycatch, hatchery fish spawning with wild fish. Use the mitigating dollars that were for hatcheries to improve habitat and let mother nature...
