That 42 lb Chinook was a blast catching. He almost spooled my Avet SX reel a few times, but after 15 to 20 minutes of making several long runs and my fighting to get the line...

Yes, they also catch Salmon east of the bridge. Some also catch salmon east of Cushman. There are holes east of Cushman that the better river fisherman fish and they always seem to catch salmon.

Don't know why, but my nephew and I haven't fished south of Florence over a mile or so. Guess we will have to try going south the next time we go salmon fishing out...

Looks like tuna catching slowed down, a little, from Newport, but recently there have been no sport tuna caught from a port...

Florence bar was opened all day and was unrestricted. Guess yesterday scared boaters because we only saw about 4 boats on the ocean all day. Coho Fishing was tough mostly because of all the jellyfish...

Where are you guys seeing 64 or 65 degree F blue water? That's the only place we found tuna the last few weeks.

Should have pointed out that Lat/Long are in decimal so convert to degree minutes. 124.8 = 124 degree 48 minutes and 43.8 = 43 degrees 48 minutes.
