Definatlely NOT a Flathead Ford - or a Ford 300CI 6 -

That is from a flathead Inline 6, any OHV Motor wouldn't have a valve releif area on the gasket -- honest guess -

Thats from a 1940-195? ...

First skunk day ever at merwin... Talked to a few guys at ramp, same luck. Tried 100 different kinds of smoke nada.

Normally I consider a bad day there a 3 hour limit....

My anecdotal evidence supports trebles - I have never had a fish (salmonoid) take a treble any deeper than the jaw, I have heard MANY a story of swallowing single hooks.

Highly unlikely, from memory don't you have a 460 Ford? 99% of engine noises are due to the accessories. Here is my course of action if your concerned about it - and I will need more information...

Hate to bring it up again, but on outdoor GPS a guy called in and said the Washougal River above mile marker is in a county where the river bottom is owned, and anchoring or fishing in any water up...

Side-planer is tricky to figure out, but I have used them on the columbia, lewis and washougal.

It takes some work - but I have even used Diver and bait behind them, with success!
