Lower Willamette Smallmouth

I've had good luck in the last 3 days, got out twice and landed 11 fish and 9 fish. Mostly 1-2.25 lbs. 2 @ 2.5 lbs or so. White deep running crankbaits and white flukes fished same depth: 7-12'....

The empty holes are stock and as mentioned no need to mess with them. There are no centrifugal adjustments on these. The xlt2 you have has the line capacity of a 5000 series Abu, so @ 205 yds of 12...

Thumbs down Deschutes blown out 8.22

Just wanted those heading this way to know it blew out last night. Visibility about 6 inches at the mouth. I'm assuming it is better above the White. Good luck out there.

Not that your asking but I like a baitcaster with the flipping switch function. Free spool with super quick one handed hook set.

Serengetti glass is awesome. Costco or big 5. Make sure your temples do n to hit your lenses when you fold them up. That will ruin any pair of glasses in a hurry.

I wear a wading boot lace that I turned into a lanyard loaded with:

A zip pull with nippers that I shoe goo glued a hook file (sharpening stone style) to. It helps with gripping the nipper as well...
