Re: Cabela's Drift Sock Experience?

Don't know if it's the same size, but I bought their largest one about 4 years ago and it did a great job slowing down the drift in my 23' Parker pilothouse.

Re: Carry on frozen fish allowed? (from Cabo)

Re: Selling Beef

Re: "Seaworthy" small boat on a budget... advice

Re: Tuna bait stop leaders

3' leader of 20-25# fluorocarbon connected to 20-25# main mono using double uni knot. 3' is long enough so I can cut off & re-tie a couple times during the day if it gets frayed or nicked.

No...

Re: First tuna rod

Since you are in Portland, you will likely have access to live bait. You can troll with anything so get a bait setup. I recommend a 7' Daiwa VIP 15-40# class with your favorite AVET.

Re: New vs used truck prices

If you're serious about getting the best deal you will already know the invoice price (base & options) before setting foot in a dealership. Edmunds is a good place to start.

Re: Do you share the wheel?

I let someone else take the wheel when we're 30+ miles offshore and in no danger of running into another boat. These trips are usually long days for me and I don't usually sleep well the night...

Re: Taking it to the next level...TBTC

What needs to happen to make this hope of live bait a reality? I'd skip Newport and trailer from Salem if I could get ice & LIVE bait.

Good luck!
