Re: 2015 Official Columbia Fall Salmon Report Thread (Non Buoy 10)

Dad and bro fished off Longview port today and saw one tule caught, nothing else. Fish checker said they had other tule come in.

Re: New 3/4 ton's

You can't go wrong with any of the big 3. Drive them all, sit in all of them, pick the one with the interior you like best.

Re: pretty smokey in town today

Just went for a 1.5 mile walk and my throat is kinda sore now. Probably wasn't the smartest idea.

Here's a satellite photo from 3pm today.

Re: DIY Oil Changes on Truck

I change the oil myself in my 2011 F-150 every 5,000 miles. Am I saving any money? Dunno, but I do know it's being done right and with the oil and filters I want.

And today I changed the spark...

Thanks Owl. I've read "most" of the book. Will finish it up tonight. Going to try a "dry" run now (not literally).

New to canning, water level?

I have a shiny new All American 921 21-1/2 quart pressure canner. Hopefully next week I'll have some tuna to can. How much water should I be putting in there for canning half pint jars?

Anyone know where to get rubber boots in wide sizes? My shoe size is 14 or 15 and 4E width. I haven't been able to find any wide enough.
