The solution I have heard floated is to regulate case length rather than caliber so oddballs aren't banned:wink:.

Recently I had heard an anecdote of some hunters last season taking cow elk here in NV from ridiculous ranges with .50 cal rifles. I didn't see the pics but I am told entire quarters were blown out....

Hardwater season in AK.

The ice is in and we started our 2013-14 hardwater season in Wasilla AK. I brought the girls to a tried and true spot about 15 minutes from the house. The bigger fish was 21" long with 10.5" girth....
