Re: Poll: Optics on 10/22 plinker?

I'd go for that Leupold 2-7x. I have a 3-9x on my 10/22 and it's too big.

Re: Silly question of the day...

I'd be shocked as hell if you got a ticket for being a minute or two early. If you were 15 or 30 minutes early, you probably have problems.

Of course I am neither a lawyer nor a game warden.

Re: What vacuum sealer do you recommend?

My FoodSaver sucks. And not in a good way. It overheats after a few bags and has to cool down. If I was doing it again and couldn't afford a chamber sealer, I'd go Weston.

Re: Where to purchase chamber-type vacuum sealer

Try an online store called Webstaurant Store, I've been looking at them there and they appear to have the best prices I've seen. Google them, this site won't let me post a link. I'm looking at the...

Re: Weyerhaeuser land & Rules

You heard wrong. Every single person I know with a permit is not an employee.[/QUOTE]

And I don't know of a single one of my coworkers who has a permit.

Are they necessary? No.

Are they nice to have? Yes.

No different than half the other stuff in our boats.

Re: Switching to Folbes

We've been using them about 5 years, the standards not the juniors. Never had an issue. Really easy to explain to newbies how to use them. When a fish it hitting hard, it's easy to get the rod out....

Make the hole 12ft wide and you should be good, assuming you have a decent approach.

Re: Simon wobblers

We pretty much only use Simons. Caught 12 last week on just 3 different wobblers, most of those on just 2 of them. Those wobblers have also caught fish in past seasons. They get a few scratches from...

Re: Unread PM doesn't exist

Hey hey! I had tried that before and tried it again after your suggestion and it didn't work. But then I deleted some old PMs to get down to just one page in my inbox, and it worked! Thanks! :meme:
