Re: Winchester salmon

I was on the beach at 9:00 am and saw the boats crabbing. The boats that caught fish were not visible, so my guess would be 200 to 300 ft. I repeat that is a guess.

The fish checker tallied two fin clipped coho today in Florence by noon. Two different boats. Saw three limits of crab, taken in 40 to 50 ft.

Good Luck,

Re: Nonselective coho season, what a blast

Best ocean salmon season since the 70,s. It was great not having to turn back a fish trailing blood and knowing it will almost certainly be lost. My freezer and salmon sustainability are both...

Does current direction matter?

I had not been paying too much attention to the direction of the troll except last trip out. We were trolling north and picked up three fish in a half mile stretch. I made a 180 and trolled the...

Crabbing in Florence

Crabbed for an hour with 5 pots south of the jettys. Caught 31 keepers, 35 to 45 feet. Some were soft and went back, but lots of crab.

I just looked at RipCharts and the scan for today 6/10/2012 at 3:20 pm shows some 60.8 degree water and blue. The ruler said it is 48.5 miles out with a heading of 271 degrees. It appears to be...

Re: Can you hear me now?

Thanks for the input, It sounds like I need to change providers and get an amplifier with a high gain antenna. The more I can stay in touch when needed the better. Thanks again.

Can you hear me now?

Thought I would ask if anyone has experience with cell phone external antennas and amplifiers. My cell will work out to 12 mile line. It would be great if that could be extended.
