Another casualty, one of the people i work with here in alaska just bought a pair of xtratuf and they also came made in china started to leak the second day he had them right on the toe.

yes they are comfortable and have good traction. like you said bogs maybe a boot to try, looks like the same tread pattern maybe same rubber dont know.

If you don't want to spend much for lures, since they do cost a quite a bit of money after a couple snags here and there.... I would recommend "Bud Spinners" they are low cost and get the job done! ...

Casting from the bank upstream and letting it sink. got to be careful. lots of snags on the bottom. I hear pencil lead and black yarn is good in the clack too.
