Re: Did the Weyerhaeuser permit interfere with your hunt?

Again, just as Orion asked, where is any documentation given that Weyerhaeuser receives tax breaks for providing public access? I'm interested as well. You post certainly doesn't back up that claim,...

Re: Choosing a smoker

Never heard anything but good things about Smokin-It smokers. I'll be getting either a Model #2 or #3 next summer. They also have a great support forum of fellow Smokin-It users.

Re: What do you do to keep your boat from being stolen?

Anybody have a Spot Trace installed on their boat? Been looking at it, seems like a cool product. Won't deter the theft, but will let you know exactly where your boat has been taken. Costs about $100...

Re: I'll catch over 1400 crappie next weekend! grab the kids and come along!

So are you fishing the canal along Lake Rd or up directly on the shoreline of the Silver Cove RV park?

Also are you using the little plastic tube baits (I've just picked up some of the...

Re: Prop Guard

It should actually IMPROVE performance. At low speeds a ducted prop is more efficient than an open prop because it reduces the amount of thrust that is lost at the tips of the blades to centrifugal...

Re: Poll: Optics on 10/22 plinker?

I'd go for that Leupold 2-7x. I have a 3-9x on my 10/22 and it's too big.

Re: Silly question of the day...

Of course I am neither a lawyer nor a game warden.

Re: What vacuum sealer do you recommend?

My FoodSaver sucks. And not in a good way. It overheats after a few bags and has to cool down. If I was doing it again and couldn't afford a chamber sealer, I'd go Weston.
