Not only the ocean is trouble, earlier in the week two in the river holding on to a bow up boat drifting down. Be careful out there, afternoon wind and chop could cause trouble.

Re: OTC Results?

It was pretty slim this year. Something like 120+ fish on Friday. Not sure what was turned in today. Weather was a factor.

Re: Ilwaco OTC Live bait mystery, question.

Our bait stops, the tuna was taking live or dead bait. Just put it on a hook. We even had cedar plugs dangling on the side and that was even taken. The bite was not too bad on Friday or Saturday.

Re: Long Range San Diego trip questions

How about the shopping excursion? New 50w reels for the trip? New rods? Gear purchase at the dock? Gear purchase on the boat? Most of the new tackle is too big for around here.

Re: Long Range San Diego trip questions

Do a test run on a 2 to 5 day trip, before you pop out 8 to 10 grand. I really like the 2 to 5 day runs espacially when the blue fin are around.
