Re: Depoe Bay departure and return videos

I thought it was a requirement to sound a long blast on your horn when inbound and outbound, but I only heard people voicing it on channel 80, and not sounding their horn the last couple of weekends....

Re: Jurisdition of tillamook sheriff

We were also checked when 12 miles or so out of Depoe Bay/Newport near the Stonewall Bank by OSP last Saturday. Very nice, asking how the fishing was going, and asked to see our tags. No issues. Of...

Re: Any advice on squid fishing?

All of this is really cool information. I have only been fishing the ocean for about 2 years and have obviously only just touched the tip of the iceberg with the minimal time I have to fish it in a...

Re: Jigmaster problem/question

Yes, after looking at a schematic, it is the bearings I am talking about. They are the brown plastic ones. The smaller of them on the handle side broke easily when I tried to take it off tonight. The...

Jigmaster problem/question

Used the new to us jigmasters on Saturday for Sturgeon in the Columbia after upgrading washers and doing a complete service. One of them was giving us problems when reeling. Seemed to bind up a...

Re: Official Springer Report 2013

On a positive note, fish counts are increasing. Over 1000 at Bonneville, and almost 300 at the falls. They are coming. They knew I could not get out until later in the season and waited for me ...

Re: Should I balance my boat trailor tires

If you only travel short distances and not high speeds, i'd say its not as important than if you frequent the interstates and frequently hit over 50mph.

Either way, it would be a good idea to....

Re: Penn Jigmaster 500S rebuild

Maroon is definately more appealing to me also.

I've been looking at the 114's, but they are a little rich for me at this point in the game. Maybe later.

What will you use the 112 and 114's...

Re: Penn Jigmaster 500S rebuild

I have 3 500's so far. Got lucky with one so it seems. It was advertised as a standard 500 with tiburon upgrade. When I got it, I noticed it appears to be a 99 tiburon conversion. I have not taken...

Re: Penn Jigmaster 500S rebuild

Was that $80 for the upgrade or was that including the price of the reel also? Just got me a few 500's myself, and would like to do the same. Not looking to spend $80 in addition to what I just spent...
