Serengetti glass is awesome. Costco or big 5. Make sure your temples do n to hit your lenses when you fold them up. That will ruin any pair of glasses in a hurry.

I wear a wading boot lace that I turned into a lanyard loaded with:

A zip pull with nippers that I shoe goo glued a hook file (sharpening stone style) to. It helps with gripping the nipper as well...

Berkley $30-$60 7-71/2' rod (lightning etc) or a used Lamiglas of same class

8-10 lb mono, 12-14 if fishing heavy weeds etc.
