In Linn county Chickens are not (or at least in the past) considered "Livestock" so you can not legally shoot a dog if they are harming them..... But still if I owned chickens I would not hesitate to...

The areas that you were told about here really are no secret. And it really doesn't take that much effort to find those spots. Like said, snow will be your enemy, hunt it the last week of May.

Buckboard bacon

Any one ever make BBB? or try their hand at curing their own bacon? Buckboard is made with pork butt instead of belly. You can also use loin but it would be Canadian bacon.
