I wouldn't trust mono past 2 years and I personally replace mine every year at least.

Braid is a different story, it last a loooooong time. As is mono that has been keep in a cool, dry, consistent...

Already legal in Oregon. SBRs are legal in 44 states, with WA just needing the governor's signature and Michigan getting close as well.
