SkipJack boats ?

:meme:Hello everybody I hope you all are getting ready for Springers and the Big run of fall kings this year. I am looking into buying a used SkipJack boat a 24,25 or 26 footer. I know these boats are very popular in Southern Cali. Does anybody have any experience or feedback they could share about these boat? thx Jim

I had a 1972 24' Flybridge that I fished on So Cal for about 5 years. It was great for the calmer water down south, but don't think they're really built for the NW Coast. The Flybridge was great for site fishing for birds, patties, etc. But the boat was a bit top heavy. Killed a lot of fish and the range was great.

Thx for the info Dory Drifter. I am not getting very much input from here in the north west. There don't seem to be many of these boats here:applause:
