I've discovered the simplest way to cook poultry with the most flavorful moist results - ever!
select a small ~9lb bird
plop it into an oval crockpot (remove legs/thighs if need be)
Add whatever seasonings desired (no salt, no liquid)
Turn it on low, cover and let cook 12-18 hours.
It will form it's own juice and man o man alive - YUM. It will de-skin, de-bone and pretty much make itself ready for turkey pot pie and gravy leftovers too. :jester:
