just finished the first season on my 90hp. It has been everything as advertised; exceptional gas mileage, super quiet, ultra low emissions, unbelievable starting, sips 2 cycle oil, no vibration, no required maintenance, excellent performance. :applause: I did have a couple of false alarms that required a software patch which was covered under warranty. Hopefully it will continue to perform this way season after season.

Thanks for the report. My old engine is still running strong, but when it quits someday, my plan is to replace it with a 90 hp E-tec. Everyone I've talked to who have experience with E-tecs are very impressed. Why buy a 90 hp Honda four-stroke that weighs 100 lbs more, is way bulkier, has a milder power curve, and doesn't get any better gas mileage or lower emissions, and isn't any quieter than the E-tec? If four-strokes have any advantages over the E-tecs, I don't know what they would be.

That's great! My neighbor has a 75hp and it is a great motor. I plan to get one as well but my current Honda 130 isn't going to die anytime soon at least not by natural causes . I could put on a 200 E-Tec and it would still weigh 80#'s less than the Honda :bigshock:.

yeah, I forgot to even mention the weight advantage, which is huge over the 4s's, and even over comparable 2 strokes. Not to mention a ton less moving parts that can fail or need service and replacement. I was sold on them before I saw their new infomercial, after that, seemed like a ridiculous no brainer. Get the Saltwater edition if you get one...not much more money but alot more stainless steel components.
