Hi all, Ive a 70's starcraft holiday 18'. its body is in better shape than the top is. Need to replace the top canvas. I found a person to replace the top and sides for me, unsure on her price she needs to look at it first. but also some have told me to have the whole frame assy and cover replaced... any suggestions for someone who makes new boat tops... and what can I expect to pay $$$ ?????

I have a Top Gun Top from Bentlys. They are located in Milwaukie. Not sure on $$$ as it was in the boat package I bought.

-- and if you live on the west side I have had great luck with Northwest Boat Tops. Great work with Top Gun or what ever you want and a fair price.

Jet... As a matter of fact I do live on West side... thanks. with it being a mostly wet area up here, ive thought about just making it a perminante hard top, wonder if they can do that, Ill look them up in the phone book...

Go with a 3 bow top. You won't be sorry. much stronger.

Hey Trap.... Ill suggest that to him... I dont like taking my top off the boat when I drive... keeps things from flying out... So I do want it strong. Im also wanting to add about 1ft extension. right now when your in the seats behind the driver your legs would get wet if raining... weve got rain gear but why not just extend the cover..

Jerry of "Jerry's Upholstery" (in the phone book) has made two travel/mooring covers for me. Definitely one of the best accessories you can add to a boat.
Whomever you go with, make sure you get the Top-Gun material. Unlike vinyls, it will last for over a decade of totally outside storage.

Jerry just did mine for a very reasonable price, $100 less than anyone else. Top gun material, and built to my specs. He does great work!

Would someone please enlighten those of us who are on the green side when it comes to top material? What is Top Gun Material???? I'm needing a new top on my Glastron and have been wondering what to use. Is it some type of heavy canvas that is water proofed? Please give me some education.

I also have a Top Gun Top from Bentlys that’s what I would suggest.
