Amazing week of fishing

[Amerman]

The last couple weeks of fishing following and during the rains have been flat out amazing. It seems like often this week everyone we saw was having great fishing. All up and down the coast, it seemed like every river was kicking out limits. A couple days all 4 of the Amerman guides were on different rivers and all catching. The next day we landed 20 or more in two hours. Lots of doubles and fast action.

But this fall chinook season was good even before the rains although not easy like last year. But the fish have been there to catch if you put in your time. We often had limit days this year when few others were catching. Here's a couple pics from hot bobber fishing action earlier this fall.

[Amerman]

We added Ian Premo to the Amerman Guide team this summer. He joins my dad, Grant Scheele and myself to make up Amerman's Guide Service. After sifting through about 20 possible candidates to become the next Amerman guide, we picked Ian as our first choice. After his first fall chinook season with us, we are sure we made the right choice. Here are a few of his fishing pictures from this fall too.

Man what a great late season it has been the fish just keep coming even as the water has dropped I expect to see the chinooks around through the end of DEC.
