Just got back from 4 days at the hospital (Proud new dad) :smile:
I was swinging for trout on my TFO 5wt... purple Bunny Leech, and this Beast nailed my fly, and came unglued... Biggest fish I have ever caught, and just found out it was a Coho. (is was released) I have no idea how long... but it sure was fun...

Wow, a Coho on a 5 wt rod!!! Quite an accomplishment.

Im not sure, but it looks like the adipose fin was clipped? I know I wouldve kept it, but man what an accomplishment. Im still trying to catch something on my fly rod. Jeez, I bet that was a hoot landing that sucker on a 5 wt!!! :bigshock: :applause: :cheers: :bowdown: :dance:

I saw this on the "other" board and still think it's awesome considering where you caught it!

I caught in a section that was catch and release....but I still dont think I was gonna keep it...
it was pretty sweet!!!
By the way... beautiful little girl!

Great job on the fish! Even better on the new baby. I remember the day my daughter was born 14 years ago as the happiest day of my life. I am happy for you and your wife!
Remember. When your kids are babies they are so cute you could gobble them up. When they get to be teenagers you wish you had.

4 days? Wow... we were in the hospital barely 32 hours! Hey, congrats and welcome to the New Dad's Club (even if she's not your first... daughter that is... coho are a different breed).
