View Full Version : It dawns on me that Im......... a year old?

It has been one year since I was reborn. Reborn and baptized of the spirit. Due only to the unfathomable grace of God, he has chosen me as his own. It has been the both the hardest and the greatest year of my life. Going forward, I only hope that the God will help me to allow Him to love me a little more each day. As I sit here and think about this, my thoughts return these words from Joshua 24 that I thought I would share.
"But if you are unwilling to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve.....But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD."
AMEN!

It's not always the easiest road to travel and trials will be many, but the rewards that are stored up in heaven will be great! Keep the faith and always fix your eyes on him and you will finish strong.

As believing Christians, we are tested each day and can only try to improve ourselves to justify the love He showers upon us. It is a rocky road, but it seems to get a little smoother all of the time.

Praise the Lord and happy born again day! I realized last night while delivering a message at a local meeting, that the 30th anniversary of my rebirth is coming in October. My walk has been less than perfect during those years. What has been steady, and without compromise, has been our heavenly Father's love, grace, and mercy. Blessings to you until we meet in the promised land!
