After three years, I'm resuming ministry in a super maximum security prison in No California. We go in for the whole weekend and the lord is always faithful to make it a productive time. I'd covet your prayers for this weekend

UPDATE: We are back from a highly successful weekend. We conducted 6 Church services, each of which was attended to capacity. I prayed with, or counselled with apporximately 100 men. It looks like this will be a monthly trip. I'm glad to be back in there after 3 years. My impression is that it has become even more violent, with tighter security, yet the Church in the Prison is doing well. Many thanks for your prayers!

Thanks
Dave

you got it! I can't imagine there is anything more important to those in that environment to know that there is more to life and have hope somewhere, tough calling but rewarding I'm sure. Wishing you the best, but you have a pretty good ally on your side

You have my prayers, Grantspastor.

For giving of yourself and bringing the message of Our Lord into the lives of people that need some spiritual direction to change their lives around, is truly a selfless act.

May God bless you and your mission.

When the son of man comes in his glory, escorted by all his angels of heaven, he will sit upon his throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. Then he will separate them into two groups, as a shepherd seperates sheep from goats. The sheep on his right hand and the goats on his left hand. The king will say to thoes on the right "come you have my fathers blessing! inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food , I was thursty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcome me, naked and you clothed me I was ill and you comforted me, "IN PRISON AND YOU CAME TO VISIT ME". Then the just ask "Lord when did we see you hungry, thursty, sick, or welcomes you away from home, or clothed you when you were naked, OR VISIT YOU IN PRISON?". Then the Lord answered and said " I assure you as often as you did it for one of my LEAST brothers, you did it for me MATT: 25
My prayers are with you my friend ...Lord Bless

That we may be used as tools to accomplish his will in the lives of others is the highest honor. You will be in our prayers.
