Right on HappyBrew . I thank God that we live in a country where we can be Democrat, Republican, Hindu, Christian, Fly fisherman, or Bobber & Bait soaker. We truly are blessed.
A special thanks/prayer to the people in uniform who have or are helping keep us free!!! :angel1:

As sad is this is to read, isn't it interesting that despite the brutal persecution of our Christian brothers and sisters in the Quang Ngai Province, that their numbers have grown 12 fold since 1991?
For this reason communism never has , and never will, prevail over the human spirit and God's will.
The Revelation 14:12-13
"Let this encourage God's people to endure patiently every trail and persecution, for they are His saints who remain firm to the end in obedience to His commands and trust in Jesus."
And I heard a voice in the heavens above me saying, Write this down: at last the time has come for His martyrs to enter into their full reward. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blest indeed, for now they shall rest from all their toils and trials; for their good deeds follow them to heaven!"
It is coming to the USA slowly but it is coming.

I've known two Vietnamese priests, very holy men. One was taken out on a plane full of children at the conclusion of the war, and ordained in the U.S. Another was ordained in Vietnam, fled due to persecution. My wife and I, our favorite restaurant is run by a Vietnamese couple that left Vietnam as "boat people". All the Christians at the end of the war were imprisoned. They were fed a handful of rice a day, and forced to do hard labor, even the small children. The priests were killed.
There is so much going on in the world while we quibble over things like church music, theological hair splitting, and how to put "inclusive language" into our hymns.
God needs prayer warriors.
