can anyone tell me where there's any lakes within 2-3 hours of st. helens that I can put the boat in at and do some bobber fishing with my 6 year old daughter, she likes to fish as long as we're cathing fish(preferably often). this spring we camped at honeyman and fished siltcoos, had a great time and caught lots of fish, daughter caught 6 on her barbie pole, I just want to find something a little closer with camping at or near by

Not sure about camping but my 7 year old had a great time catching perch on bobber at Hagg Lake this summer. Silver Lake, WA might be another option. My dad took me there as a kid and we caught lots on bobber. Haven't been up there much lately but I've heard there is a pretty good crappie/perch bite in the fall even into November.
