My wifes 26 year old cousin Meridith was told Friday that her uterine cancer has spread throughout her body. She is terminal and not expected to make it to Thanksgiving. Please say a prayer for Meridith, her family and her many friends who need strength to say goodbye.

Meridith's oncologist sent her to a research team at a Seattle area cancer research facility. They are doing advanced treatments on treatment of her precise type uterine cancer and related metastasee. She will be entering aggressive treatment Monday. There have been some successes with this treatment.
Your continued prayers appreciated, we have already gone from hopeless to hopeful. Prayers for miracles are at work here!
Thanks to all,
Rob

Thanks brothers and sisters. The latest news is not good. Keep Meredith and her family/friends in your prayers. It looks as if God will be calling her home sooner rather than later.

Meridith has finished what is likely her last round of chemo and radiation. This particular oncologist has had some success with an unproven approach which really was Meridith's only hope. He has told her to enjoy her family and continue to pray. She will be able to make a last trip to Hawaii with her immediate family in the next couple of weeks. We are all praying the pain meds will allow her a last family vacation surrounded by those who love her so.
Prayers for her peace of mind and body are greatly appreciated.

An incredible thing has happened. I wanted you to know all your prayers made a difference, I know this as much as I know anything. God has reached out and touched our beloved Meridith!
Meredith started feeling better about two weeks ago. The new treatment was very hard on her but none the less... she WAS feeling stronger and in much less pain. Brothers and sisters, she went in for another MRI last Friday. The tumors that riddled her entire torso are gone. GONE! While the doctors can't say the cancer will not return, nor will they say she is in remission, it is clear that God's healing touch has been applied. Oh yes, there is no doubt that modern science and skilled oncologists did their part but it can't be questioned that they were guided by something greater than mere human knowledge. And you and I know what that something greater is!
Praise God! He is HERE, working miracles! We will continue to pray for Meridith's recovery and give thanks for blessings received! Please do the same!

As you can see, my last post regarding Meredith was nearly two years ago. I want you all to know that while Meredith was called home Sunday evening she accomplished much in that two years. She lost her faith and regained it. She made amends with family and came to know what unconditional love is. So while our family mourns her loss we praise God for the extra time we had with this amazing young woman.
Meredith was 29 years old and died peacefully in hospice care. Thank-you all for your thoughts and prayers, we can all take comfort knowing she is home with our Lord and is singing and laughing like she should.
