There's a great program for school kids in the Jefferson area ( and I'm sure in many other areas too) called the Good News Club.
With signed parental permission,(ORS 339.420), kids can be excused once a week from school for a Bible class. The classes include Bible stories, learning activities, and songs, songs updated for today's kids, not for old buzzards like me.
Teachers and staff are from various churches in the area and attend regular teacher training classes conducted by Child Evangelism Fellowship.
What could be better for kids than some moral and spiritual training, that's fun at the same time? :flowered:
