One of my favorite verses:
"So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life -- whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Doesn't life consist of more than food and clothing? Look at the birds. They don't need to plant or harvest or put food in barns because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are."
I love the prayer on that page, too.

Thanks indeed a great verse and prayer! :applause:
How I don’t actually do it though…it’s almost as if my main gift is to worry. :help: All kidding side it’s a wonderful promise from God. He cares for us in ways we don’t even realize. I know my worrying comes from the deceit of control in my life. I think I control things when I really don’t, yet I keep at it. :hoboy: Good stuff to talk to God about tonight!!
I appreciate you sharing the verse Jen. It’s a great reminder from a faithful Lord.

definately a verse to take to heart...I know that when I get worked up in worry, this verse has a calming effect and security wrapped up in it. Not sure of the verses, but similar favorites are: Don't worry about tommorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own! Do not worry about anything, but pray about everything! Pray for God's will to be done in our life...when this is done, we need not worry as he'll provide.

My favorite along those same lines is in Romans:
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us--they help us learn to endure. And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confident expectation of salvation. And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
