Whopper Stopper

We spent the weekend in Seaside so I hit Cullaby early on Sunday. The first three hours only produced two dinks. Then the clouds came in and cut loose. I was soaked and shivering. However, I was hoping it would get the fish in a feeding mood. In the next two hours I caught eight fish, had a big one dive in the salad and break me off and the biggest was this beauty!

This one chomped my "Limp Stick" and proceeded to pull me and my pontoon boat into an overhanging tree. She measured 23" and pulled my scale down to 6.5 lbs. I let her go under the dock in the north end.
Once the rain stopped they were all just outside the main weed line. I got a couple on cranks and the rest on the Limp Stick (thanks to Stans article on them last year)
