I'll be at hagg lake tomorrow with my dad It seems from recent posts that fishing has been good. Any advice on what lures to use??
I also have another question. My dad and I dont own a boat so we were thinking about renting one, is this really necesary to fish the lake good?? And how much does it cost??
Thanks in advance for any info!!

Its really not that neccisary to do the lake on a boat. I had used to only fish from shore until quite recently and have done well there.

With the water level as low as it is, bank access is really good right now. Good luck!

Son and some friends had their pontoons out there and caught several small ones, but had a good day Sat. He would have liked some bigger and more action but a day on the lake is still good. Water is way too low for the handicap dock people. With the weather cooling down, fishing should even get better. Good luck.

Here is one of the better ones that we caught on Saturday.

We found most of the fish on main and secondary points. We where dragging plastics on a carolina rig. Smallmouth and Largemouth both!
