I’ve noticed on other boards some evening get-togethers at local restaurants and I began thinking why not the A/C group for those of us in the greater Portland area (not that I’d wish to exclude anyone further way if ya could make it), so I’ll throw it out there to see what kind of interest there is. I’m sure we all have busy lives, but even if we can get a few to meet and tell fish tales or whatever it should be fun.

Depending on the interest we can pick the location later to be as central as possible to those who want to meet up – sooooo, anyone around next week (Aug 29 – Sept 2). We could go for sometime after Labor Day later in September too not sure of ya’lls end of summer vacations. Let’s see if we can get this ball rolling.
I know DAB owns me a coffee, I’ll need to think of the reason why through.

A seven day a week work schedule and some health issues I'm dealing with won't allow me to join you folks, as much as I'd like to. I'm often in bed by 7 P.M. these days.

I wish a great time to all, and maybe someday this might be a "regular event".

Keep the faith, and God bless all of you! :angel1:

FishinGrl22 good suggestions. Alright everyone how about Izzy’s Pizza on Sunnyside Road this Wednesday @ 6:30p? When I read pizza I remembered that’s one of my favorite food groups plus we don’t need to be concerned about a specific number for reservations. Also since you can eat pizza hot or cold that’s going to make FireCat happy!!!

Looking forward to some “Pizza & Fun”; how does this work for everyone?

The wife and I had a good time, was nice to see letsfish again, and also meet Rimrock, I thought that Rimrock was going to be an old man like my self :bigshock: but he's just a spring chicken
Got to do it again BUT where it is a little quieter so us old geseiers can hear better.

Thanks everyone for coming out. My family and I had a great time, looking forward to doing it again sometime.

Let’s see if we can get some of them coho on the Sandy this year Jim.

Spring Chicken…
When I was taking the young adult kids around in Mexico, they always called me the old man. They’re going to like it when I tell them I’m a spring chicken.

Or they might just ask, “How ooooold was the guy who called you a spring chicken?” I just tell them, “He’s not old…for a tree.” :jester:
