I am working on finshing the third book in the Left Behind Serries. These books are a really great fiction book. I have gotten a lot out of reading these books. These books have shown me that I have a awsome God that can do freat things in my life and the lives of others. Has any one read any of these books?

I think I have read 5 or 6 of them. They are good books really keep you interested...suspensfull. My wife has read all of them. I got kind of tired of reading plus she has a big mouth and told me everything that happens anyway so I figured "whats the point of keeping reading them."

I love the way the gang sticks together, supports eachother and reaches out to others to bring others into the battle. Then they fight the enemy together. They are not meek and mild or withdrawn christians. They are front line freedom fighters. As I was reading I found myself kind of wishing that I were in the story.

Good reading to you sharkbait!

I've read all of them and am currently 3/4 done with the latest, The Rising. A great series, although I think the author's stretch in a few places. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed all of them.

My kids read all of them. It's fun to get your kids into them! Easy to find something for their birthdays!

Not interested in that kind of pure fiction. Won't read any of them. Sorry for the sour grapes.

I don’t read the series either Joyce, but I did read the first 4½ books before discarding them. I read a great deal of the time, and there is so much good literature available to consume I don’t feel it of benefit to spiritual growth to be distracted by unbiblical fiction. I have no problem with fiction, but not fiction that pawns itself off as Biblical (as the Da Vinci Code does in similar fashion).

I could go into a few specific examples as it relates to the Left Behind series if you desire to illustrate what I mean as unbiblical. It’s just there is so much better material out there.
