In a way i don't really know how to explain all that has been going on. My husband had found a local job but now there is some complications with that job. Its hard to explain what's been going on with it but God knows. From right now though, my husband is having a rough time really finding what he wants to do. As a wife, i've been trying to be as supportive as possible and to except whatever he chooses to do but there is times where i don't even know what I should do. We still live with my parents and that is been hard for all of us in the family. Just please be praying that the Lord will give him wisdom wether it is dicretly from the LORD or through someone that the Lord chooses. Thank you all so very much.

IN Christ,
Janice :depressed:

Your faith in the Lord will help you over this bump in the road.

The obstacles all of us face each day can be overwhelming without his guidance.

My prayers for a "smoother road" for you.

Father,

I pray that You would lead him to the right job. I pray that you would help him to be the provider You want him to be for his family. Bless them financially so they can buy a home of their own. Help him to cope with the worldly and wicked among us. Help us all to be salt and light in this ungodly world.
In Jesus' name!

Will pray for His guidence. Iknow what you mean about spirtual things conflicting with work. Many years in Construction, and it always amazed me How some of the "spiritual" guys could go to church on Sunday, and act like they did the rest of the week. Makes it hard to stay and stomache some times.

I really wish there were some women responding to this, as they might be able to console you better, but we guys just have to make due.

I think there is no best job for anyone. There is always a problem with a job. It takes years to accept this sometimes. I think that God provides, and I think that God can humble the proud in the process.

I have a job right now that I know God provided for me. But due to the nature of the job, there continue to be spiritual issues with it. But God put me there to do what I can and to provide for my family.

God will do the same for your husband, if he will let God do that. Knowing nothing of the particulars, I do know that he will need your love and support at this time, and your prayers. It is certainly difficult to be jobless. But God has provided this as an opportunity to draw closer to Him, for both of you. So trust in God and be open to grace. So many people ignore the grace that lies right before their eyes because it doesn't fit into their plans. So be open to where God leads you, not confusing it with your desires, but knowing that God requires a broken spirit and a contrite heart. (Psalms 51:17)

It is very hard, doing what God wants, and discerning where the Spirit is leading us. But don't let the difficulty discourage you, for "sin is couching at the door; its desire is for you, but you must master it." (Gen 4:6) Discouragement gives sin a foothold, as it did Cain in Genesis.

Work was never ment to be fun! Like happybrew I have a job that I know God gave me it is not fun. But putting food on the table for my wife and son are more important then me being happy. Remeber we are only on this earth a short time so I look at it this way you might work for a company for 40 years but you will be in heaven for ever. rp

God has a reason for everything. It's a cliche and noone likes to hear it during tough times, but it is true! Use tough times for his glory. We all have them, it's a matter of how you react that could bring others to Christ around you. Your situation will help others if you stay in Christ through it all. Don't forget how short 100 years really is in an eternal realm. Life is easy when your eyes are on heaven!
