I just got back from silver lake. I fished there 3 days from a boat and caught one small bass and 3 little crappie. I was actually pretty dissappointed becuase this was my one trip for the summer. I tried senkos and bandit cranks and didnt catch anything worth mentioning.

Next time you go up call me and we will go out on the first day and I can show you the best locations that are holding Bass! Top pattern this time of year is dark buzzbait after sundown NEAR thick cover is about 6-1 feet of water. This is a B I G fish pattern! Did you fish docks? mid-day? Skipping a senko can be very good!

I've only fished Silver once but I put on a clinic dropshotting Roboworms in the rocks around the island docks. My buddy got some nice ones also with blue senkos and the Bandit plugs.
