Please pray for Tim and Shana and their family:
Hi everyone,
Tim and I have a special request. We just found out tonight that Tim's mother Patti Christison was admitted into the hospital today and has been diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a egg that is in the right side of her brain. The doctors have listed it as a stage 4 cancer and have given her just a few months to live. The tumor is effecting her left side and her speech is slurred and she has been having seizures. Many of you may remember that Patti had lung cancer five years ago and has been in remission for the last four years. Patti loves the Lord with all of her heart and her spirits are very good right now. We are asking for you to please keep Patti and her family in your prayers. This has hit the family pretty hard and we could use all your prayers. Please also pray for safe travel for Tim, Jarett & I. We are leaving Sunday morning early and plan on staying one or two nights depending on how things are going at the hospital.
Thank you for your prayers and God Bless,
For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help. Psalm 22:24
Marie, Could you please put this on the churches prayer chain? Thank you!

update
Hi everyone,
Tim and I can’t thank you all enough for the prayers for Patti. We got to the hospital Sunday afternoon and were able to talk with Patti’s doctors on Monday. Her neosurgeon said that the tumor had to be operated on right away because her symptoms (her left side is paralyzed) would worsen and she would end up slipping into a coma. So they operated on Tuesday. The surgery took five hours and everything went very well. The doctor felt that she was able to get all of it and is hopeful that she will regain movement in her left side. Tim and I were able to see her in ICU Wednesday morning and she looked great and was opening her eyes talking to us and had movement in her left side. This is all bitter sweet because the tumor has come from her lung cancer and they have found two more tumors in her brain and one in her lungs. So right now we are all very thankful for the gift of time with mom. The prayers are working and we can all feel them. We have decided as a family to not tell mom about the other tumors until she has recovered from this major surgery. The doctor knows from experience that a positive attitude is best for her patient’s recovery when going through such an extensive operation. We can’t thank you all enough for all your prayers, encouraging words, phone calls and e-mails. We will try to keep you posted with further updates on mom’s progress.
God Bless you all,
Tim, Shana & Jarett

Update:
Hi Everyone,
We cannot tell you how much your prayers and thoughts mean to us. We all met with the Mom's doctor last night. The best scenario would be to be able to bring mom home to have her comfortable with family. She needs to recover enough for this to happen. The outlook is not good but with prayer and faith we hope to get her home.
Thanks again for all your prayers we can truly feel them,
Marie, Could you please place this update on our churches prayer list for us? Thank you.
