Last weekend, I was in Edmonton, Alberta. Weekend prior, in Richmond, BC. Of course, I was wondering what kind of warmwater fish were in the waters I saw. My buddy in Edmonton said they had Sturgeon and "Golden Eye" in the river, but didn't fish and didn't know that much about it. I'm thinking "Golden Eye" must be Walleyes. I know they refer to Northern Pike as "Jacks". I found a tackle shop in the West Edmonton Mall (World's largest, ya know), and they didn't know much about bass, but did have some crappie jigs and Rapala's, crankbaits, etc.
Anyway, does anybody know about the different names they have up yonder for the warmwater fish we know and love? :cheers: C&R, Steve
