Lacamas report

[Fishing Maniac]

2 of us fished hard Sunday morning from 4:30am until 10:00am. We covered a lot of water with topwaters, spinnerbaits, Senkos, and jigs. We had one 3 pounder to show for our efforts. It was caught on a buzz bait about 8:00am. Had one other blow up that that didn't stick which looked to be around a couple of pounds but that was it. We had absolutely perfect conditions with overcast skies all morning. We were also the only boat on the lake for the first two hours. Not what I would consider good fishing by any means but at least we didn't get skunked. Sorry no pics.

Nice report. Sorry it didn't go better but ya were there... and like you said it was a beautiful morning. Overcast and quite comfortable. Beats sleeping!

I agree...it was a great morning to be fishing. It was my first trip to Lacamas so I consider it a success even if we didn't catch numbers. Any time you can catch a 3 pounder on top that's pretty cool. I was just a little dissapointed with the numbers of fish. If anyone wants to chime in with some pointers for finding numbers of quality fish this time of year feel free :grin:
