Just ordered one of these today.....was between the waterready and this Scadden Mckenzie drifter. I thought this was a bit more versatile for me and my family and my friends!
Great service from a Corvallis fly shop.
Any one used this model before?

Started building these for the Fly fishing guides back in 04. This is a picture of the basic 3 person, but now set up with lean towers.

What a beauty (both of 'em really)! What's the length on that bad boy?
I saw a batch of toons on the Rogue this past weekend and the thing that surprised me was how low these appeared to ride. Was it just what I saw or do others ride higher than "butt barely out of the water"???
Man! I gotta get me one of the 2-seaters any which way!

Mine is a 15 ft, but also build in a 16 ft. Got some great input from some local guides, and can also be used as a single, or a 2 person. New lean tower is what really make the new guide model. Built with hydrolic cylinders to hold up so is out of way for dis-mount. Anyway, sorry --just answering, not trying to hijack. I just like talking about them.

It's 13 ft, 20" tubes, under 100#. Waterready, I looked at one of your boats and while beautifully done, seemed bulkier too me....for some reason not as pleasing to my eye....personal, not practical. Cost was about the same, although I didn't know you made a 3 person. I also like the sliding standing platforms on the Sladden.
You were a very close second....

It's cool,
But while your waiting for your new one, I would love to come and see your river, and I'll even let you drive mine.
Let me know if it can work! I would like to see that river!

I will be sure to look for the floating Cadillac when I am fishing the Umpqua. Does that come standard with the Bose Stereo system, AC, PW, and heated seats?

If those are the sticks that come with the craft - IMO you should look to upgrade. Looks like they may snap under the weight of that boat fully loaded. Just looking out for your saftey. A lot of discussion on the board lately about buying affordable boats, and I know the above is a quality craft, but some things are not worth compromising. Hope you enjoy your boat!
