Can you still control your kicker motor like normal if you want or do you have to use the wired/wireless controler?
All you have to do it hit the power switch once and that puts the unit in "standby" mode and you can then run the kicker as normal.

Flapbreaker, the TR1 is engaged only when you want it to be. Otherwise, un-engaged, it has no effect on your motor and you won't even know it's there.

Dumb question perhaps but I would like to know if the TR1 contols the kicker speed as well as direction. I am thinking of adding one to my boat and just don't know anything about them.
Thanks in advance for the education

You can get it with throttle control for 4 strokes only.

After using the TR-1 why would you want to control your motor any other way?????

With a TR-1, you will not have any worry's about the Tiller on your kicker, If you want to grab it you can, with one push of a button you are in control, TR-1 has thought of everything, the inventor is a fisherman on the Oregon Coast. A demo ride to see where the cost comes from, TR-1 will offer you that.
The key to the marine industry they hold, all these years, TR-1 has been the only company I know that can be reached 24/7. And they are there to help you!
I have many Friends that run the TR-1, there is nothing it cant do, or a situation it can not handle.
Park your sled in a hole on the the Sacramento River, you have a foot on either side of your prop, your poles are are down, all of them, TR-1 has the boat controled. ( so you fish)
ASK YOURSELF, " WANA FISH OR WANA STEER?"
