My friend and I both own original TR1's. My friends unit seems to be having some valving problems. Sometimes when you turn the unit on the motor will run when you push a direction on the remote, but the hydraulic ram will not, there is no pressure build up, like a valve is stuck open. Other times though the the unit functions fine on power up! Anybody else have this problem, and what was the fix?

I know on the 2000's the seals will wear out and they need to be rebuilt. I think it is about $400. Tough call on whether or not it is time to upgrade?? Good Luck.

Mine does not work with a hoot. I've worked with the TR-1 folks and I can't get it to work. Narrowed it down to a compass issue. Spent some time tweeking it and it worked! For a day. :depressed: The other day I wanted to use it and all it wanted to do was go in circles again. It use to work fine.

There are some parts availble but what I have been told is an upgrade may be needed. I'd love to have the gold. Just don't want to buy a 2nd one.
