Truckee River 2-weeks ago.

Rafting this little river is VERY tricky...But, if you want to catch these type of fish you have got to find the holes that aren't fished out. Most of the fish that we catch in the upper river are all wild...like the fish in the pic.


There has been an excellent Drake hatch when the clouds come out. The Little yellow stones are hatching throughout the day.

That would be a big trout even if you didn't hold it out toward the camera. Nice fish!

That is a pig of a rainbow. I have only ever touched a few fish like that.
