Page 27 of Fly Fisherman magazine shows a 36# Laker caught on a fly. Making him the world record holder, guess it pays to do your homework, in 1985 I took my father for 10 days to Great Slave Lake, fishing we spent the days (light 24 hours a day) trolling lures, and I spent the evenings flyfishing, anyway I caught a 37# laker on 12# tippet. At that time we were allowed 2 fish to take home,,so off to the fish house he went, I wanted it mounted but by the time I got the manager back a guide had steaked it up and had it packaged. I do have pictures and if I can ever figure out how to scan and send I will post it up here. My advise,,, make sure you have your duckies in a row with big fish.. Steve
