why delete the catfish question, years ago we caught a few this time of year, up the crooked river arm where it starts to narrow in the channel, night crawlers.

A couple of years ago, BuKuBass and I hooked up to fish Prineville from my boat, and the JD from shore. I'm certain he would give a good reply, except he's over at Oxbow or similar, for a much needed vacation . We went to the park/launch at the upper end, and fished the rocky bluffs across the way, mostly with Senkos or similar. However, that was late Sept. or early October, so take that into consideration. Nice park, nice launch, anyway. I don't think it would be a bad place to fish, but probably the flats on the near shore would be better at this time of year.
DO NOT overlook getting an Extra Large Meatlovers at Cinnabar Pizza. Right in downtown P-ville, on the corner at the light. Marvelous!   C&R, Steve

Yup, it's the one at the top of the menu; $22 for the giant that weighs about four pounds. I'm meeting shalom at Oxbow tomorrow and since I'm going thru P-town before the Cinnabar opens, they're making me one ahead of time and I'll swing by Pat's house and pick it up; I like it cold.
BTW...I don't waste my time at P. rez; there's better fishing elsewhere with smaller crowds and bigger fish.
