Hey Ifishers, I just moved up to Hillsboro from down south and was wondering where a good place to take my 3 yr old daughter to fish would be? All help is apriciated, she can't wait to get out and go fishing again.
Thanks in advance :help:

I have been taking my 4 year old out to Hagg lake in Forest Grove. Its a great lake with all kinds of fish in it. He's been catching a lot of perch by just using a worm and a split shot. Its about an half hour from Hillsboro at the most. we out in a canoe, but there is tons of bank fishing as well as a pier. Go early and leave early and you'll beat the rush. We're going to Vernonia Lake this weekend...a little further west, but I have also heard good things about it.

there's a little lake above North Plains called Horning's Hideout that's a catch and pay, but it's a nice place that suits short attention spans. My son and I went there often when he was that age. Other than that, I'd second Hagg Lake or maybe even Dorman or Bethany Ponds.

Places I would take younger kids to fish are: Commonwealth Pond and Bethany Lake, Hagg Lake, Vernonia Pond, Dorman Pond
