Another vacation at Oxbow rez.

I'll be at Oxbow rez from July 6 around 2,3 pm thru Sunday, July 10. I'll be in the "Bass Tub"; some of you've seen it. It's a tan square-stern canoe with a Vizsla bow ornament. The top water bite should be coming on but just in case, I got some "senkos" in smoke/copper flake which is the Killer color on the Snake. Flag me down for a free sample and a fishing tip or three. I'll be working the upper third of the rez.

They were eating everything you threw at them a couple of weeks ago. We had a hard time Crappie fishing in certain spots because the bass kept nailing our jigs. Those bass feed real heavy on crayfish, I would think an imitaiton would be dynomite! Hope you have a good trip.

Just got back from Oxbow, it was GREAT!!The smallies were biting anything you threw at them. We spent the week at Carters Landing, it was quite busy, but full of very friendly fishermen and their families. Wife and I took our five year old granddaugher,she really enjoyed reeling in some of the bass and playing in the river. The smallies were real chunky, no dinks, all in the 1lb to 1.8 lb range. Just perfect for a week of fun. Overall it was a good solid 10!!! :smile:

BuKu me and the kids will be heading over to Oxbow the 2nd and staying till the 9th. We'll be in my camo jon boat and a blue Subaru with a black roof rack. If you see us come say hello. Should be a great time, I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm planning on being arriving late in the day on the the 8th through the 10th. I'll keep an eye out for you so I can say "HI" to y'all. I'll be in a 15' Duckworth with black and chocolate lab bow ornaments in case you see me first. I've been fishing Brownlee lately, and want to get a view of some other scenery and water.
